Summer Squeeze – A Taste of Harmony, All Summer Long
Looking for something cool, casual, and creative this summer? Summer Squeeze is your invitation to dip into harmony with Rhythm of the Rockies — Calgary’s award-winning a cappella chorus.
Drop in for one or all of our Tuesday evening rehearsals between July 22 and August 26 to experience the fun of singing 4-part a cappella harmony in a vibrant, supportive environment. You’ll learn a song or two, meet our members, and get a feel for what it's like to be part of an energetic, high-achieving chorus.

If you love it and want more, our guided audition process begins in the fall.
We welcome women and non-binary singers whose voices fit in a treble-range ensemble — whether you sing high or low, there's a place for your voice. Not sure where you fit? That’s okay — just arrive a little early for a friendly voice placement with a member of our music team at 6:30 p.m., and we’ll help you find your part.
Rehearsals run from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. in the Penner Studio at the ATCO Performing Arts Centre (1371 Hastings Crescent SE, Calgary).
And yes — it’s totally okay to slip out early if needed.

We are accepting new singers for all parts!
Imagine coming in to rehearse every week knowing that you will feel so energized and included, that you’ll want to sing the entire night! We’ve been told we’re not your average chorus. We take our harmonies and connections seriously but not ourselves. We aren’t divas or superstars; instead, we are a little bit nerdy about cool things, like harmony and pitch! And, if you think that sounds exciting, we offer a LOT of creative vocal education and unique opportunities to perform. You don’t need to have experience singing 4-part Acappella music – hey, most of us didn’t when we joined. We believe in providing ongoing education and support for all our members and, (vocally), we will meet you where you are at!
When can I visit or audition?
We welcome new singers all year long. You are invited to RSVP (or drop in) on any of our casual Tuesday night rehearsals. RSVP today and we’ll be sure to greet and guide you every step of the way!

When you come in the front door, head to the back and slightly left. Our door is at the base of the back staircase. Please arrive by 6:40 pm to allow us to check you in.
